Radomir's greatest advantage as a forge is that they cast their own forging stock and therefore have full horizontal integration of production maintaining total control over all stages of production from cast billet to final forged and machined product. In the early stages of production both VOD and VAD vacuum heat treatment plant is employed. Radomir are also able to offer cast and forged product manufactured from Electro Slag Refined steel alloys.

Radomir possess two vertical heat treatment furnaces which can heat treat bars of up to 10 metres in length and 50 tons weight. This is essential for forged bars employed in high speed rotation applications such as rolls and turbine rotors, as well as bars with critical straightness requirements for other reasons.
